Bonus Room update

Neutral yet funky baby room

I must confess this is my daughters room. But I just love how it came together so I had to post it. We did not find out the gender of our baby by choice. It was very exciting not knowing, but also challenging when decorating the babies room.
I did not want the the typical "neutral" babies room so when I was shopping and came across this bedding I fell in love with it and decided to pull the lime green color in the leaf. It was a lot of fun to make, and since Avery has arrived I had added some pink accents in. Most of these pictures are before she came, and some are after.

Old Home Renovation

This home renovation was done on a tight budget and a quick timeline. It was tempting to change out the window & door trim and baseboards but instead of taking that project on we decided to paint and put some new flooring in and replace some old light fixtures. It's amazing how those things can make such a difference! After it was all done I was amazed how the trim looked new and much more richer.

After - Hallway. New paint and flooring goes a long way. See how much richer and new the trim looks!

Before - Front Entrance. I'm sorry this picture is so awful, I didn't notice it was so blurry until after the work was done. Hopefully you can see the panel screen on top of the shelf and the very old linoleum.

After - Front Entrance. New paint, flooring and lighting. We also removed the panel on top of the shelf.

After - Front Entrance. Since taking the panels off this shelf it was hard to re-finish the top. So instead we bought a few natural slate tiles and made this much more of a statement.

After - Kitchen. As simple as new flooring and new handles made the cabinets look richer and everything come together better.

Bittorf Residence

This client wanted assistance with colors for paint, accessories, and drapery. It came together nicely with the warm color scheme. Because of the shape of her windows it was hard to cover, so we covered the bottom windows and left the top open which was nice because it lets the natural light in.
She also was not going to stay in this home for too much longer, so our goal was to choose a scheme that would be appealing to most buyers.
